Continuum Nature School is located off Sheehy Road in East Nipomo.

The school name is inspired in part by the work of Jean Liedloff, detailed in her book The Continuum Concept: In Search of Happiness Lost, reminding us of practical ways to regain our natural well-being.

Youth participants will be immersed in nature, fostering a deep connection to the natural world and to each other, building confidence, mutual respect, and expansive thought through a series of practices and experiences developed with natural laws and true human nature in mind.

Meet the Guide

  • Founder & Lead Guide

Alisha grew up on the Central Coast of California and has led Forest Schools in Wa & Tx, Socratic project based education at an Acton Academy in Austin, Tx, and Waldorf/Montessori home education.

As a Self Directed Educator, she is committed to the perspective that every individual is a genius on their personal Hero’s Journey.

She is passionate about liberated lifelong learning, wholehearted communication, sustainable living, and our inherent connection to nature.

“My son was inspired and fell in love with the fun and engaging challenges Alisha shared, talking about them constantly outside of school. She created a community and safe environment for my son that he’ll remember forever.”

Adrian Abascal, LAC MSAOM

“It is paramount for our children to be in environments of absolute safety and trust that are free from shame and Alisha exceeded our standards in that regard. We could not have asked for a more patient, kind, creative, humble, safe champion for our children.”

Mya & Nathan Parker

“As both a fellow educator and parent, it has been an honor crossing paths with Alisha and witnessing the kind of compassion and dedication that she brings to everything she does. She undoubtedly has a strong connection with her own children, her learners, her community, along with a genuine concern for the well-being of everyone around her.”
